This role involves leading a team of quality engineers to accelerate delivery and enhance quality across the application lifecycle. You will leverage business and functional knowledge to develop comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies. Key responsibilities include applying testing methodologies, defining key metrics, and managing test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will guide your team through multi-disciplinary planning and ecosystem integration. This position demands a strategic approach to designing and implementing robust testing strategies, ensuring high standards of quality throughout the development process. Collaboration and continuous improvement are central to success in this role.

Drive the entire software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile framework, from strategy and planning to execution and reporting. Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for UI, API, data, and integration layers. Develop automated tests for Java/Spring Boot services and REST APIs, covering regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios. Contribute to Java development, working closely with engineers on Spring Boot microservices when needed. Design test strategies, plans, and functional use cases based on business and technical requirements. Collaborate with product owners, analysts, data engineers, and developers to understand requirements and create effective test scenarios. Work with data and integration components like Databricks and Azure Data Factory, validating data flows and transformations. Implement AI-driven test solutions, such as smart test selection and self-healing tests. Ensure high-quality documentation of test strategies, cases, data, and results. Proactively identify quality risks, defects, and process improvements, driving their resolution with the team.

Possess 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including strong Java development skills with Spring Boot. Experience with Python development is a plus. Proficiency in manual and automated testing across various levels, including unit, integration, system, and end-to-end functional testing. Experience with test automation and web testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Solid experience in software testing, including designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD). Experience with data-centric and integration testing, ideally involving Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with AI-driven test automation solutions is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Hands-on experience with version control (Azure Gitlab), CI/CD tools (Azure Gitlab CI/CD), and defect tracking (Gitlab, Squash). Ability to translate business requirements into effective test strategies and plans. Excellent documentation skills and a proactive, self-driven approach with strong ownership. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working in a global, cross-functional team.
