Lead and support the creation of frameworks and operating models for test cases, plans, and schedules. Design, build, and implement automated testing tools and workflows. Establish standards and metrics for measuring testing success and failures. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate testing into code and data pipelines. Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and risk assessments. Estimate, prioritize, and plan all testing activities. Drive innovation to streamline the overall testing process. Oversee and support testing for multiple applications and datasets concurrently. Track key quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts. Understand business needs and objectives. Maintain strict data security controls and adhere to data management best practices, ensuring detailed documentation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer motivated to ensure the highest levels of quality assurance for our software applications. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing QA processes, including automated testing, test planning, and defect tracking.

The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in software development projects across various lifecycle phases (design, build, implementation, steady state). A minimum of 5 years as a QA Engineer is required, along with demonstrated experience in writing test cases, plans, and schedules. Key technical skills include Python, Java, SQL, Postman, REST API automation testing, Playwright, Selenium, and Azure Test Plan. Experience with testing both functional and non-functional components is essential. Strong expertise in implementing and managing automated testing tools, as well as experience with automated reporting and live monitoring of test cases, is crucial. Experience with Postman, REST API Testing, and Playwright at a P2 level is expected.
