Drive quality across the application lifecycle by enabling full-stack solutions. This role involves continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, as well as creating and implementing automation strategies. You will also be responsible for data and environment configuration, participating in code reviews, and reporting defects to enhance the end-to-end testing process.

As a Software Quality Engineer, your focus will be on ensuring final products meet end-user needs and requirements, while preventing any malfunctions. Understanding project manager and product owner expectations, and anticipating end-user needs are crucial. Clear communication is key to quickly addressing identified problems with relevant teams and contributing to overall product improvement.

Review technical designs and specifications to provide valuable feedback. Develop detailed test plans and cases to pinpoint software issues. Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities effectively. Document, track, and monitor bugs thoroughly, and perform regression testing once issues are resolved.

Develop and implement testing processes for both new and existing products. Collaborate with internal teams, including product leads and developers, to define system requirements. Investigate the root causes of non-conforming software and work with developers to improve software quality. Monitor quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities, and stay updated on new testing tools and strategies.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Test Management is required. A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable qualifications and experience, is necessary. You should possess proven work experience in software development or software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect descriptions is essential. An ISTQB or related certification is considered a plus. This position is based at our Chennai office, and requires 15 years of full-time education.
