As a Quality Engineer, you will drive full-stack solutions by fostering multi-disciplinary team collaboration and ecosystem integration. This role is key to accelerating delivery and enhancing quality throughout the application lifecycle. You'll engage in continuous testing for security, APIs, and regression suites, while also developing automation strategies and scripts. Supporting data and environment configuration, participating in code reviews, and reporting defects are integral to driving continuous improvement in the end-to-end testing process.
This role requires an independent performer who can become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Key contributions include: - Active participation and contribution in team discussions. - Providing effective solutions to work-related challenges. - Developing and implementing robust automation strategies to boost testing efficiency. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in automation testing is essential, with a strong emphasis on developing automated test scripts and frameworks.
Proficiencies include: - Experience in writing utility functions utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured or Postman. - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Maven, and TestNG. - Solid understanding of test automation frameworks. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Java and JavaScript for test script automation. - Experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL. - Experience in enhancing or creating BDD automation frameworks for GUI/API.
Good-to-have skills include experience with mocking/stubbing APIs using tools like Wire Mock or Mock Server, and hands-on experience with Karate API Automation. Familiarity with Cypress/Playwright and Core Banking is also beneficial. The ability to create and validate API data for testing purposes is required.
