As a QA Engineer, you will conduct comprehensive service and user-level testing using various techniques. Innovate and scale test strategies across multiple dependencies, locales, and device types, implementing automation for efficient Search stack testing.
You will deep-dive into software internals, debug complex performance issues within the Search stack, troubleshoot escalations, and develop automated tests. Collaborate closely with Software Development Engineers and Business Owners to align technical implementations with business objectives.
Work with Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support teams to understand user behavior and create test plans that mirror real-world scenarios. Diagnose and resolve project release problems, driving quality-centric methodologies and reporting on test progress and metrics.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance engineering is required, with a strong background in automation and manual testing.
Proficiency in UI and API automation testing using tools like Selenium and SOAPUI is essential. You should possess proven experience in troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and demonstrating expertise with SQL for debugging search logs and replaying customer scenarios.
