As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to uphold the highest standards of quality. Your role will involve active participation in design discussions, planning sessions, and sprint retrospectives. You will be instrumental in developing test scripts and automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive end-to-end coverage across ACK's cloud, UI, and firmware components.

The ACK team operates within Alexa Smart Home, offering managed services that simplify the creation of smart home appliances for device makers. We partner with leading manufacturers like Toshiba, Sharp, and Hamilton Beach, bringing innovative Alexa and smart home capabilities to a wide range of products, from coffee makers to air purifiers.

Champion the quality assurance process for the Alexa Connect Kit, working alongside a dedicated engineering team.

Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design discussions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Develop and execute robust test scripts and automated test cases to ensure comprehensive end-to-end quality across cloud, UI, and firmware.

Identify and report defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Define and track key quality metrics to measure product excellence.

A minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in quality assurance engineering is essential.

Proven experience in both manual and automation testing methodologies is required.

Demonstrated ability in scripting or coding for testing purposes.

Experience serving as a QA lead on medium to large-scale projects.

Familiarity with automated test frameworks such as Selenium or Appium is highly preferred.

Experience in gathering test requirements and creating detailed test plans, along with defining quality metrics, will set you apart.
