Define and own the enterprise automation testing strategy, driving the adoption of advanced tools and best practices. Establish governance models, architecture, standards, and reusable components across QA teams. Lead multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions and provide technical leadership for complex automation scenarios. Design and guide the CI/CD execution approach for automated suites in GitLab, ensuring accountability for automation effectiveness and defect leakage reduction. Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, dashboards, and quality metrics, and establish integration patterns for traceability and reporting.

Oversee knowledge transfer, onboarding, and manage automation risks and dependencies. Support defect triage, RCA, and drive improvements to reduce flaky tests. Ensure delivered automation artifacts are production-ready and contribute to agile ceremonies. Identify opportunities for innovation, including AI-driven testing and continuous testing. Provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction to QA and automation teams.

Proven experience in defining and implementing enterprise-level automation testing strategies. Expertise in Selenium, Java, API Automation, REST Assured, TDD, and Junit is mandatory. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple QA teams and provide technical leadership for complex automation challenges. Experience in designing CI/CD execution approaches (e.g., GitLab) and establishing governance models, coding standards, and automation guidelines. Strong understanding of automation effectiveness, defect leakage reduction, and quality metrics. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to apply strategic thinking, mentor QA engineers, and drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
