As a QA Lead, you will define and champion the enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and quality engineering goals. You will drive the adoption of advanced automation tools, frameworks, and best practices across projects, establishing robust governance models, architecture, standards, and maintainability improvements. Leading multiple QA teams, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality automated testing solutions and provide technical leadership for intricate automation scenarios. Furthermore, you will design the CI/CD execution approach in GitLab, oversee automation effectiveness, collaborate on KPIs and dashboards, and manage integration patterns for traceability and reporting. Ensuring production-readiness of automation artifacts, contributing to agile ceremonies, and identifying innovative testing opportunities, including AI-driven testing and performance optimization, are key aspects of this role. You will also provide strategic direction and mentorship to QA and automation teams.

Mandatory skills include proficiency in Selenium, Java, API Automation, REST Assured, TDD, and Junit. Behavioral competencies involve demonstrating leadership, accountability, effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement, strategic thinking, and making informed decisions that balance quality, timelines, and business needs. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly in GitLab, and a strong understanding of automation governance, coding standards, and defect management are essential.
