As a QA Lead, you will define and implement the enterprise-level automation testing strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality engineering objectives. You will champion the adoption of advanced automation tools and best practices across projects, establishing robust governance models, architecture standards, and reusable components. Lead multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions, providing technical expertise for complex automation scenarios. You will design and guide the CI/CD execution approach using GitLab and ensure automation effectiveness by minimizing defect leakage and enhancing test confidence.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation KPIs and dashboards, establishing Jira/X-Ray integration for comprehensive traceability and reporting. Conduct code reviews and mentor QA engineers to uphold automation code quality and standards. Oversee knowledge transfer and onboarding processes, while proactively identifying and managing automation risks and dependencies. Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and drive improvements to reduce test flakiness. Ensure automation artifacts are production-ready through thorough documentation and handover.

Contribute to agile ceremonies and stakeholder demonstrations, communicating progress and outcomes. Explore innovative testing approaches, including AI-driven testing and performance optimization. Provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentoring to QA and automation teams.

This role requires strong leadership and accountability in driving quality outcomes, with effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. You will foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement, applying strategic thinking to manage quality risks and testing challenges. The ability to make informed decisions that balance quality, timelines, and business needs is essential. Mandatory technical skills include Selenium, Java, API Automation, REST Assured, TDD, and Junit. Experience in defining enterprise-level automation testing strategies, driving adoption of advanced tools and frameworks, and establishing governance models is expected.

Proven ability to lead QA teams, provide technical leadership for complex automation scenarios, and design CI/CD execution approaches is required. You should be adept at collaborating with stakeholders to define automation KPIs and metrics, and proficient in establishing Jira/X-Ray integration patterns. Experience in code reviews, mentoring QA engineers, and overseeing knowledge transfer is necessary. The role demands proactive identification and management of automation risks and dependencies, as well as supporting defect triage and root cause analysis.
