As a QA Lead, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing the enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with project objectives and quality engineering goals. This includes driving the adoption of advanced automation tools and best practices.
You will establish robust governance models, define architecture standards, and promote maintainability through reusable components and coding guidelines. Leading multiple QA teams, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality automated testing solutions, providing technical leadership for complex scenarios, including API authentication and asynchronous flows.
Furthermore, you'll design and guide the CI/CD execution approach within GitLab, ensuring effective pipeline stages and environments. Accountability for automation effectiveness, defect leakage reduction, and overall test confidence will be key. Collaboration with stakeholders to define KPIs, dashboards, and quality metrics is essential, alongside establishing Jira/X-Ray integration for traceability and reporting.
Your role will involve reviewing and assuring automation code quality through standards enforcement and mentoring. You'll define and oversee knowledge transfer, manage automation risks, and support defect triage and RCA. Ensuring delivered automation artifacts are production-ready and contributing to agile ceremonies to communicate progress will also be part of your responsibilities. Opportunities for innovation, including AI-driven testing, will be identified and explored.
Ideal candidates will possess expertise in Selenium, Java, API Automation, REST Assured, TDD, and Junit. A strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with GitLab are essential.
Experience in defining and implementing enterprise-level automation strategies, governance models, and coding standards is expected. You should be adept at leading multiple QA teams and providing technical leadership for complex automation challenges.
Proven ability to design CI/CD execution approaches and collaborate with stakeholders to define automation KPIs and metrics is required. Familiarity with Jira/X-Ray integration patterns for reporting and traceability is a plus.
