This role involves defining and leading the enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap. You will drive the adoption of advanced automation tools, frameworks, and best practices. Key responsibilities include establishing governance models, architecture standards, and maintainability improvements for automation across teams.

You will lead multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions and provide technical leadership for complex automation scenarios. Designing and guiding the implementation of CI/CD execution for automated suites in GitLab is also a core part of this role. Accountable for automation effectiveness, defect leakage reduction, and overall test confidence across programs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation KPIs, dashboards, and quality metrics. Establish Jira/X-Ray integration patterns for traceability and reporting. Review and assure automation code quality through standards enforcement and mentoring. Oversee knowledge transfer, onboarding, and identify automation risks and dependencies, escalating blockers as needed.

Support defect triage and RCA for automation failures, driving improvements to reduce flaky tests. Ensure delivered automation artifacts are production-ready with proper documentation and handover readiness. Contribute to agile ceremonies and stakeholder demos to communicate progress and outcomes. Identify innovation opportunities including AI-driven testing and continuous testing.

Mandatory skills include expertise in Selenium, Java, API Automation, REST Assured, TDD, and Junit. Demonstrated leadership and accountability in driving quality outcomes are essential. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders is required.
