As a QA Lead, you will define and implement the enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality engineering objectives. You will champion the adoption of advanced automation tools, frameworks, and best practices across all projects.

Key responsibilities include establishing governance models, defining architecture, standards, and reusable components, alongside enforcing coding standards and automation guidelines. You will lead multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions and provide technical leadership for complex automation scenarios.

Your role will involve designing CI/CD execution approaches for automated suites in GitLab, ensuring accountability for automation effectiveness, and reducing defect leakage. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define automation KPIs, dashboards, and quality metrics, and establish Jira/X-Ray integration for traceability and reporting. Mentoring QA engineers through code reviews and ensuring delivered automation artifacts are production-ready are also crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, you will contribute to agile ceremonies, identify opportunities for innovation, and provide strategic direction and mentorship to QA and automation teams.

This role requires strong leadership and accountability in driving quality outcomes, coupled with effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. You should promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, applying strategic thinking to manage quality risks and testing challenges.

Ideal candidates will possess mandatory skills in Selenium, Java, API Automation, REST Assured, TDD, and Junit. Experience in defining and owning enterprise-level automation testing strategies, driving adoption of advanced tools and frameworks, and establishing governance models is essential.

Demonstrated ability to lead multiple QA teams, provide technical leadership for complex automation scenarios, and design CI/CD execution approaches is expected. Collaboration with stakeholders on KPIs and metrics, along with assuring code quality via reviews and mentoring, are key competencies. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to identifying innovative testing opportunities are highly valued.
