As a QA Engineer, you will meticulously plan and execute various testing phases, including functional, system, integration, security, regression, and end-to-end testing for the SSAS monitoring solution. Your role involves validating complex data models, collectors, and reporting tools, ensuring source-to-target and source-to-report accuracy.

You will also maintain comprehensive requirements traceability, manage defects from identification to resolution, and support user acceptance testing, deployment, and production validation. Preparing detailed test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases will be key, alongside validating diverse data layers and ETL processes. Effective defect logging and reporting are essential for ensuring engineering fixes are verified and providing complete regression evidence.

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in various testing methodologies, including functional, system, integration, security, end-to-end, and regression testing. Proficiency in SQL Server and SQL-based data reconciliation is essential, along with expertise in data modeling and source-to-target mapping.

Familiarity with SSAS Multidimensional, DMVs, Extended Events, cube and partition processing, and ALETL parsing is required. Experience with incremental ingestion, watermarking, restartability, and idempotency testing is also crucial. You should possess strong analytical skills to validate derived metrics, baselines, and thresholds, and be adept at testing Power BI reports, including KPIs, DAX calculations, filters, and RLS.

Excellent technical documentation and communication skills are necessary for stakeholder engagement, requirements traceability, and defect management. Support for UAT, deployment validation, and test closure activities is expected.
