NTT DATA is seeking an innovative and passionate QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are a forward-thinking organization committed to client success and positive societal impact through responsible innovation.

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and validation of migrated Snowflake workloads onto Databricks. You will play a crucial part in the entire testing lifecycle, from preparation and execution to defect tracking and reporting, ensuring seamless transitions through SIT, QA, PROD readiness, and hypercare phases.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive test cases for migrated data pipelines, jobs, transformations, and integration flows. You will also support automated test execution where applicable, providing clear reporting on validation outcomes, identified defects, and overall test completion status.

Further duties include validating migrated workloads against defined functional, data reconciliation, and deployment criteria. You will meticulously capture and maintain all necessary test evidence, defect logs, issue status, and sign-off documentation crucial for governance and release management. Collaboration with Data Engineers is key for defect reproduction, triage, and retesting during critical project phases. You will also assist in collecting runtime comparison evidence and contribute to final validation reports and knowledge transition materials.

A strong foundation in data migration testing, SQL-based validation, reconciliation testing, and ETL/ELT testing is essential. Experience with data quality checks, effective defect management, clear test evidence documentation, and an understanding of automated testing concepts are also required. Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks environments, source-to-target comparisons, row count validation, aggregate checks, schema validation, and release sign-off processes is highly preferred for this role.
