Define and implement the enterprise-level automation testing strategy and roadmap, aligning with quality engineering goals and prioritized applications. Drive the adoption of advanced automation tools, frameworks, and best practices. Establish governance models, architecture standards, and reusable components to enhance maintainability and coding quality across teams. Lead multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality automated testing solutions, providing technical leadership for complex scenarios.

Design and guide the CI/CD execution approach for automated suites within GitLab, ensuring seamless pipeline integration. Oversee automation effectiveness, defect leakage reduction, and overall test confidence. Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation KPIs, dashboards, and quality metrics, integrating with Jira/X-Ray for robust traceability and reporting.

Review and ensure the quality of automation code through standards enforcement and code reviews. Oversee knowledge transfer and onboarding processes, including framework usage and troubleshooting. Manage automation risks and dependencies, escalating blockers as needed. Support defect triage and RCA for automation failures, driving improvements to reduce flaky tests. Ensure delivered automation artifacts are production-ready with comprehensive documentation. Contribute to agile ceremonies and identify opportunities for innovation in testing.

This lead role requires 8-10 years of experience in QA automation. Essential technical skills include API Automation, Automation Framework Creation for Testing, OOPS Concepts, Test Reporting & Risk Management, Selenium, Cypress, Java, Jbehave, TestNG, and PL/SQL. Experience with CI/CD execution in GitLab and agile methodologies is crucial.

Key responsibilities involve defining and owning the automation testing strategy, driving tool adoption, establishing governance, and leading QA teams.
