Seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Playwright to join our dynamic team. This role requires 7-8 years of dedicated experience in automation testing, complemented by foundational manual testing skills. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and executing robust automation solutions that uphold our commitment to quality and best practices.

This position demands a proactive individual capable of taking ownership of testing activities and deliverables. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, ready to contribute significantly to our QA processes and standards.

Independently prepare, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, adhering strictly to QA standards and best practices. Leverage advanced skills in defect management and triage to ensure timely resolution of issues. Develop and execute Playwright automation scripts using Python, focusing on script design and implementation. Proactively identify and address Playwright automation challenges, collaborating with subject matter experts when necessary. Take full ownership of assigned testing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all testing activities.

A minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience in automation testing is essential. Proficiency in Playwright scripting using Python, including script design, development, and execution. Extensive experience with the Page Object Model (POM) framework for creating and maintaining automation scripts. Solid understanding of Playwright locators, waits, assertions, and effective debugging techniques. Familiarity with test management tools like Spira and strong defect management capabilities. Experience with fixtures, hooks, reusable components, and test data management is crucial. Basic manual testing skills are also required.
