Spearhead engineering projects focused on the lifecycle management and enhancement of ultrasound probe refurbishment. This role involves close collaboration with diverse teams to orchestrate project deliverables for new refurbishment initiatives and ongoing process improvements.

Key responsibilities include upholding stringent product quality and compliance standards for all contributions. You will execute standard operational and technical tasks with precision, adhering to all instructions and quality benchmarks. The role demands proactive communication of program status and diligent monitoring of outcomes to ensure alignment with quality, content, schedule, and budget objectives.

Furthermore, you will provide strategic recommendations to technical, manufacturing, and program leadership to drive advancements in products, processes, and technologies. Responsibilities

Develop and manage engineering and design transfer projects, ensuring effective interface with internal and external customers for resource allocation.

Accountable for delivering project scope within the original cost estimates. Manage project schedules, budgets, and integration (New Refurbishment Introduction and Refurbishment transfers), influencing outcomes to meet customer CTQs and tollgate milestones.

Drive total lifecycle value and deepen expertise in Ultrasound probes to execute strategic goals. Lead with a lean mindset, understanding key business drivers to achieve objectives and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Demonstrate initiative and the ability to partner with global, cross-functional teams to enhance processes, deliver training, and improve quality and customer satisfaction. Make informed decisions within established frameworks and resolve issues requiring strong technical judgment and adherence to procedures, consulting senior team members for complex challenges.

Cultivate strong customer relationships, acting as the primary liaison between customers and GE HealthCare, and effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders. Possess knowledge of best practices and how your area integrates with others, while remaining aware of market competition and differentiating factors.

Qualifications

Requires an MBA coupled with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Possess a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, including at least 6 years specifically in engineering roles.

Includes a minimum of 3 years of experience working with product development teams on design transfer activities and a minimum of 3 years in project leadership.

Ability and willingness to travel to global manufacturing locations, up to 20% of the time, is essential.

Desired experience includes design, manufacturing, and/or repair of ultrasound probes or transducers, design verification, and manufacturing process development/validation. Strong oral and written communication, technical problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are highly valued. Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO, FDA), the entire product lifecycle of GE HealthCare products, and GE HealthCare systems (My Workshop, Oracle, QMS) is advantageous, as is previous experience with refurbishment programs.
