Our Global Government & Public Sector (GPS) team collaborates with governments worldwide, leveraging international expertise and local insights to tackle critical challenges and drive digital transformation.

Within the Government and Public Sector (GPS) Services, the SaT (Strategy and Transactions) practice specializes in delivering improved public services through private sector best practices tailored for public sector needs. We work with leading businesses across various sectors, including transport, healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

As part of Strategy and Transactions, Infrastructure Advisory helps clients navigate complex strategic, financial, and operational questions to achieve their future goals. We focus on optimizing capital allocation, managing risk/return trade-offs, and enhancing decision-making for governments and institutions.

Key responsibilities include providing trade advisory and research support to generate high-quality documents on Trade Analytics, Free Trade Agreements, and WTO compliance. You will draft country and sector profiles to aid government policy formulation.

Responsibilities also involve creating compelling collaterals, issue notes, and strategy documents within strict deadlines. Identifying global best practices in Trade Analytics, Dashboards, and related databases is crucial for developing innovative policy-making instruments.

You will independently manage and execute ad-hoc research requests and contribute to EY's knowledge management and business development initiatives. Regular contribution to EY's knowledge base and business development activities is expected.

A postgraduate degree in International Business, Economics, Public Policy, Commerce, or International Relations from a premier institute is mandatory.

We require a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic consulting or advisory roles, with a strong focus on Trade Analytics, Free Trade Agreements, and WTO compliance. Expertise in understanding industries and commerce is essential.

Candidates must possess advanced analytical and policy-oriented research skills, coupled with excellent drafting and presentation abilities. The capacity to identify innovative instruments and indicators for advanced trade analysis to support policy decisions is also required.
