Join Amazon's OPSENG team as a Project Manager and contribute to building the world's most customer-centric company. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of online retail by managing complex projects within the Amazon Projects team.

You will leverage your in-depth understanding of the project lifecycle, including assessment, design, execution, and performance qualification. Key aspects include site selection, ensuring statutory and legal compliance, prioritizing safety in both design and execution, managing project value, and executing diverse technical projects such as greenfield, brownfield, and improvement initiatives.

Lead the planning and execution of building projects across various formats for the Delhi NCR region. This involves establishing new centers, expanding existing facilities, and managing relocations based on business needs. You will also drive project management initiatives like standardization, energy conservation, and productivity improvements, alongside managing project financials.

Ensure the timely and safe delivery of facilities, upholding the highest standards of engineering practices. Responsibilities include supporting site selection through due diligence, finalizing conceptual layouts from an operational standpoint, and preparing developer and Amazon scopes of work, including cost estimates and Capex requests. You will also manage project resources, evaluate and finalize vendors, and oversee material procurement and implementation.

Monitor progress, manage onsite execution, and track the quality of developer work. The role involves ensuring a snag-free handover to the Facilities Team, supporting site launch preparations, and maintaining strict budget adherence with a focus on zero Lost Time Injuries (LTIs). Regular progress reporting and timely project closure, including commercial aspects, are essential.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, specifically electrical, mechanical, or general engineering, is required.

Preferred qualifications include PMP certification and experience in project management within construction and contract management environments.
