As a Data Center Construction Manager, you will oversee the execution of technically demanding and efficient construction project schedules. Your role involves driving continuous improvement to deliver world-class data centers, focusing on innovation and cost-effectiveness. You will manage day-to-day construction activities, provide leadership in your specialized discipline, and contribute to the delivery of sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities include project management of construction activities for new builds and capital projects, supporting cost reduction and schedule acceleration while upholding quality. You will contribute to enhancing data center resiliency, review construct-ability of designs, and assist in scope definition and proposal processes. Your role will also involve supporting quality assurance through commissioning and testing, managing RFIs, and coordinating with engineers. You will learn to manage multiple projects concurrently, provide operational support, and develop leadership skills within project teams.
We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Essential experience includes vendor management and working within data centers or other critical environments.
Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or project management is preferred, along with a solid understanding of critical data center equipment.
