EY is seeking a driven Project Manager for Business Consulting within the TMT, CNS, and Finance sectors in Chennai. Within EY Consulting, the Business Consulting arm, including Performance Improvement and Risk Consulting, focuses on solving strategic problems and driving long-term client value. This includes Business Transformation, Finance Consulting, and Supply Chain & Operations, addressing critical business objectives through deep functional expertise and large-scale program management.

Lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) operations, encompassing vendor master management, invoice and payment processing, and associated activities. Oversee service delivery against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), while reinforcing controls and audit compliance. Manage operational and transition risks, actively driving process improvement and automation initiatives.

Spearhead the PTP team, ensuring operational efficiency, employee development, and effective stakeholder engagement to achieve service excellence. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team, offering mentorship and professional development opportunities. Utilize AP reporting and performance insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and inform decision-making.

Streamline business processes and documentation, establishing and monitoring KPIs. Continuously monitor SLAs, present team performance, and lead quality enhancement initiatives. Identify and implement automation solutions to boost efficiency and reduce turnaround times. Gather stakeholder feedback for process refinement and mitigate risks associated with transitions. Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

A graduate with 8-12 years of dedicated experience in Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Accounts Payable processes, including payments, reconciliations, and exception handling. Possess strong knowledge of vendor management, query resolution, aged item monitoring, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coach teams, delegate workloads, and deliver against SLAs and KPIs. Essential communication skills for negotiation and reconciliation, coupled with a self-motivated and commercially focused approach centered on client service. Significant experience in people management and leading teams for successful process operations is required.

Proficiency in developing procedures and service standards for business excellence, with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills. The ability to explain complex financial data clearly is crucial. Adaptability, creativity, and a practical approach to problem-solving are key attributes sought for this role.
