Design, develop, and manage Kafka topics, partitions, schemas, and configurations. Build and maintain Kafka producers, consumers, connectors, and streaming applications. Manage Kafka clusters, monitoring performance, throughput, and availability. Implement Kafka Connect and Schema Registry. Develop integration flows using messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, JMS). Implement enterprise API integrations, web services (REST/SOAP), and microservices. Troubleshoot and optimize distributed system performance. Implement event-driven architecture and integration design patterns. Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kafka and integration platforms. Build CI/CD pipelines for integration and streaming applications. Automate deployment and configuration of Kafka components. Work with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.

Possess 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including brokers, producers, consumers, Connect, and Streams. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Kafka internals, partitions, replication, retention, and consumer groups. Experience building integration services using Java/Spring Boot or Python. Solid understanding of integration patterns, message queues, and microservices. Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data serialization formats (Avro/Protobuf). Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and documentation skills, are essential. Ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional team environments.
