This role falls within the Business Consulting sub-service line, which tackles strategic problems across various domains. EY Consulting aids clients in reimagining their business purpose and model, driving growth, managing costs, responding to market pressures, and resolving operational challenges.

Your primary responsibilities will involve the day-to-day Procure-to-Pay (PTP) activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines and policies. This includes processing invoices, credit notes, and other transactions with correct GL account and cost-centre assignments.

You will perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts, validating transaction details, and completing necessary reconciliations. Resolving internal requests (RFIs) and working on rejected invoices from approvers will also be part of your duties.

Key tasks include processing vendor payment runs according to schedules and internal controls, investigating supplier queries, and providing timely solutions. You will also process and reconcile travel and expense claims, monitor aging documents to meet turnaround times (TAT), and assist with month-end closing activities.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for performing vendor statement reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and identifying root causes. Generating and sharing remittance advice to vendors, maintaining and archiving invoices, and preparing AP Trial Balance reconciliations are also essential components of this role. Achieving daily and monthly targets will be a key performance indicator.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, complemented by 1-2 years of experience specifically within the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) function. A solid understanding of end-to-end PTP processes, encompassing invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor management, is essential.

You should be an adept problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating solutions clearly. A flexible attitude is crucial for achieving desired results, alongside excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration. Proficiency in ERP platforms, coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities, is required.

Additionally, the role requires a practical approach to problem-solving complex issues and delivering insightful, actionable solutions.
