This role is for a Project Consultant within the TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) Business Consulting practice, focusing on Finance. Our Business Consulting sub-service line addresses client needs in areas like transformation architecture, experience design, business design, and execution for large-scale programs. Within Finance Consulting, we assess and transform finance functions for improved performance and effectiveness, implementing service and cost initiatives, and embedding a culture of performance management.

Your key responsibilities will span across technical excellence, business planning, and service delivery. You will convert business priorities into actionable operating plans, manage end-to-end delivery for assigned finance portfolios ensuring service levels, quality, and timeliness. Monitoring operational performance through KPIs and conducting root-cause analysis will be crucial.

You will lead finance domains such as Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Treasury, Controllership, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This includes overseeing processes like financial close, general ledger management, vendor payments, cash application, and budgeting/forecasting.

Ensuring processes adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements is paramount. You will maintain process documentation, identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, and support audits. Promoting a strong controls and compliance culture while balancing governance with business efficiency is key.

Driving simplification, standardization, and automation across your portfolio will be a core focus. You will leverage data and process insights to remove non-value-added activities and enhance customer experience. Partnering with technology and business teams on system implementations and continuous improvement programs is essential.

Building trusted relationships with various stakeholders, including business finance, operations, technology teams, vendors, and auditors, is vital. You will facilitate governance reviews, manage escalations, and communicate trade-offs clearly. Acting as a change leader during organizational, process, and technology transformations is expected.

Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team with clear accountability and role clarity is a critical aspect of this role. You will plan staffing, hiring, onboarding, and capability development to meet current and future business needs. Creating an inclusive, collaborative, and learning-oriented environment that fosters engagement and retention is also a priority.

To qualify for this role, you must possess a Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Accounting or a related field. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
