We are seeking a Project Consultant to join our Business Consulting team, specializing in the TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) sector. This role is based in Chennai.

As a Project Consultant, you will be instrumental in supporting the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) function. Your day-to-day activities will include processing invoices and payments, resolving vendor inquiries, and managing supplier statements.

You will also be responsible for performing reconciliations, generating AP reports, and processing travel and expense claims. This role involves resolving discrepancies, supporting month-end close activities, and maintaining accurate records to ensure timely and compliant PTP operations.

Key duties include processing PO and non-PO invoices, conducting two-way and three-way matching, and investigating rejected invoices. You will manage vendor payment runs according to schedules and internal controls, and address supplier queries effectively.

Additional responsibilities encompass processing and reconciling travel and expense claims, monitoring aging documents to meet turnaround times, and generating daily and monthly performance reports. You will also assist with month-end closing procedures and perform vendor statement reconciliations to identify and resolve variances.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, with 1-2 years of direct experience in Procure-to-Pay processes. A Master of Commerce (M.Com) is also considered.

Essential skills include a strong understanding of end-to-end PTP operations, encompassing invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor management. You must be an adept problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

A flexible attitude is crucial for achieving results, complemented by strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in ERP platforms, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with reporting tools are highly desirable.
