We are seeking a Project Consultant to join our TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) Business Consulting PI - CNS - BC - FINANCE team in Chennai.

The Business Consulting service line encompasses Business Transformation, Finance Consulting, and Supply Chain and Operations. Finance Consulting focuses on assessing and transforming finance functions for improved performance and effectiveness. Business Transformation involves designing and delivering large-scale programs. Supply Chain and Operations provides strategic, operational, and financial insights to drive fundamental change and operational resilience.

- Accurately process Purchase Order (PO) and non-PO invoices, credit notes, and other transactions within stipulated timelines, ensuring correct General Ledger (GL) account and cost-center assignments. - Provide effective solutions for internal requests (RFIs) submitted by team members. - Perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts, validating transaction details, and completing all necessary reconciliations. - Address and resolve rejected invoices from approvers. - Process vendor payment runs according to payment schedules, approval requirements, and internal controls. - Investigate supplier queries promptly and provide satisfactory solutions. - Process and reconcile travel and expense claims, resolving any identified discrepancies. - Monitor aging documents diligently and take appropriate actions to meet turnaround times (TAT). - Generate End-of-Day (EOD) reports detailing recording and invoice completion. - Contribute to month-end closing activities. - Review and achieve daily and monthly performance targets. - Conduct vendor statement reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and identify root causes of variances. - Prepare AP Trial Balance, perform reconciliations, and investigate variances. - Generate and distribute remittance advice to vendors. - Maintain and archive invoices and supporting documents in compliance with document retention policies.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, coupled with 1-2 years of experience in Procure to Pay (PTP) processes. A solid understanding of end-to-end PTP operations, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor management, is essential.

You should be an adept problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating flexibility and a results-oriented attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration. Proficiency in ERP platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting capabilities, are required.
