Develop and implement strategic short- and long-term supply and demand models to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs for data center networking infrastructure parts, all while enhancing service reliability.

Present well-researched supply and demand recommendations to leadership, facilitating swift decision-making. Ensure consistent and clear communication to all supply chain stakeholders.

Collaborate with procurement and materials management teams to monitor supply commitments and provide essential supply responses to upstream deployment groups. Establish and refine best practices, including statistical models, processes, and software tools, for creating accurate supply forecasts and defining inventory targets.

Proactively manage supply shortages by driving mitigation strategies and allocation decisions with procurement and GCM teams to minimize any impact on Google's capacity delivery. Uphold product success by ensuring accountability for key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, excess and obsolescence, material spend, Cost of Goods Sold, and gross margins.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required for this role. A minimum of two years of experience in program or project management is essential.

Demonstrated experience in supply and demand planning, material planning, data center infrastructure, and making informed capital investment decisions is crucial. A strong understanding of these areas will be key to success.

Preferred candidates will possess an MBA or Master's degree in fields like Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. Two years of experience managing cross-functional projects and the ability to influence stakeholders across various organizational levels, coupled with a proven track record in leading cross-functional process improvements, are highly valued. An exceptional sense of accountability and ownership for the entire project lifecycle is expected.
