Join Google Cloud's Data Center Operations team as a Program Manager, focusing on the sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems that power our global infrastructure. This role is crucial for an upbeat, creative, and team-oriented group of engineers dedicated to building and operating powerful data centers.

As a Program Manager at Google, you will spearhead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, manage project timelines, identify potential risks, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional partners. Your responsibilities will span across various offices and time zones, ensuring all team members are informed about project progress and deadlines.

Manage the entire lifecycle of maintenance work orders, coordinating with Data Center Operations teams and external vendors to plan and schedule resources for essential maintenance activities.

Partner with facility management to develop and maintain comprehensive schedules and optimize resource allocation using the site's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Establish and diligently maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, equipment bill of materials, and program manager schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Oversee CMMS and work management processes at the site level, directly supporting daily data center operations.

Engage with fellow site planners to implement globally recognized best practices, aiming to continuously optimize maintenance programs.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess at least 1 year of dedicated experience in program or project management.

We prefer candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance for mission-critical facilities is highly valued. You should also demonstrate the ability to develop strategic plans and forecasts, possess strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external parties, have experience with third-party CMMS programs, and exhibit excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities. Your role will involve leveraging comprehensive analytics from CMMS data to support facility management decision-making.
