As a Program Manager focused on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) within our Data Centers, you will lead critical initiatives from inception to completion. This role demands a strategic approach to managing complex projects, ensuring safety, and aligning with global and local regulatory frameworks.
You'll be instrumental in translating intricate EHS risks into clear, actionable insights for business leaders. This involves meticulous risk assessments, oversight of high-risk operations, and in-depth incident analysis to implement robust preventative measures. Collaboration with engineering and facility teams to integrate safety into design is also a key aspect of this position.
Lead complex, multi-disciplinary EHS projects from start to finish, ensuring successful outcomes.
Translate technical EHS risks into executive-level insights for business stakeholders.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and oversee high-risk activities such as Lockout-tagout (LOTO), electrical work, hot work, working at heights, and confined spaces.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with engineering and facility teams to review safety designs against local regulatory requirements.
Coordinate project schedules, identify risks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across diverse time zones and locations.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
We seek candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management.
Proven experience in environmental regulations and safety management is essential.
Demonstrated experience with EHS management systems or managing EHS compliance, including environmental compliance, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience in mission-critical environments like data centers, construction, manufacturing, or major infrastructure is advantageous.
Knowledge of India's EHS regulations and best practices is a plus.
Exceptional investigative, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and people management skills are vital for success in this role. This position requires up to 50% travel and full-time onsite presence, 5 days per week as needed.
