Join Google as a Program Manager, Climate Operations, and contribute to solving critical environmental challenges. This role is pivotal in shaping our operational and value chain decarbonization roadmap, particularly within the APAC region. You will lead strategic projects aimed at accelerating carbon reduction and evolving our regional climate strategy.

As part of the Global Sustainability team, you will enable Google to build a more sustainable future. You will drive the development and implementation of our global sustainability strategy, focusing on carbon, circular economy, water, product integration, and reporting. This role requires internal and external advocacy for sustainability leadership and risk mitigation.

You will provide strategic and technical oversight for our carbon reduction, clean energy, and water strategy in APAC. Driving cross-functional collaboration is key to developing and executing strategic initiatives aligned with Google's net-zero and sustainability commitments.

Lead efforts with external experts and industry partners to advance regional climate priorities. Manage a dynamic portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives that support the climate operations organization and its core objectives.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with 8 years in program or project management. You should also have 5 years of experience with carbon accounting and methodologies or energy markets.

Preferred qualifications include 10 years of experience in climate science, GHG Standards and accounting, or the energy industry. Additionally, 8 years of experience managing cross-functional projects and experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations are beneficial. A high degree of organization and an execution-oriented approach are essential.
