A seasoned Program Manager is sought to lead a critical modernization initiative. This role demands end-to-end ownership of program objectives and success criteria, establishing robust governance structures, and serving as a key liaison for executive sponsors and leadership. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless alignment with enterprise strategy, architectural standards, and regulatory compliance.
This position requires a strategic thinker adept at breaking down complex programs into manageable projects, milestones, and sprints. You will be responsible for driving release and cutover planning, proactively managing risks and issues across technology, resources, and dependencies, and maintaining clear communication channels.
Financial acumen is essential, encompassing program estimates, budget tracking, staffing plans, and change request management. Ensuring commercial obligations are met and documented, alongside cultivating strong stakeholder relationships across business and technology domains, will be paramount. Facilitating workshops and delivering concise, impactful status reporting at all organizational levels are key aspects of this role.
Take full ownership of the program's charter, objectives, and success metrics for the modernization effort.
Establish and operate effective governance frameworks, including steering committees and working groups.
Act as the primary liaison for executive sponsors, business owners, and technology leaders.
Ensure adherence to enterprise strategy, architectural standards, and compliance mandates.
Define and manage the overall program scope across all workstreams.
Structure the program into projects, milestones, and sprint plans, coordinating inter-team dependencies.
Lead release and cutover planning, including mock runs, rehearsals, freeze windows, and rollback procedures.
Proactively identify and manage program risks and issues, covering technology, resources, scope, dependencies, and vendor constraints.
Maintain and disseminate risk registers, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
Oversee program financials, including estimations, budget tracking, staffing, and change requests.
Ensure all commercial obligations, such as SLAs and SOW milestones, are fulfilled and documented.
Foster strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders in data, analytics, operations, and compliance.
Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements, refine scope, and align on migration priorities.
Provide clear and concise status reports tailored for executive dashboards, steering committees, and detailed project updates.
A minimum of 15 years of experience leading large-scale data modernization, insurance transformation, or enterprise reporting programs with multiple parallel workstreams.
Demonstrated success in managing fixed-fee/milestone-based deliveries spanning architecture, ingestion, transformation, reporting, testing, and hypercare.
Proven ability to coordinate diverse teams including business, IT, Guidewire program teams, data SMEs, security, infrastructure, and vendor partners.
Extensive experience driving executive governance, RAID management, dependency tracking, financial control, change management, and steering committee reporting.
Familiarity with hybrid agile delivery methodologies, release planning, sprint governance, and phased cutovers for major platform go-lives.
