Prepare and maintain draft Master Production Schedules (MPS) by considering demand fluctuations, distribution needs, production exceptions, line balancing, and third-party capacity limits. Finalize and publish the MPS after validating production constraints, resolving escalations, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Analyze scheduling data to refine production plans based on feedback from Materials, Factory Operations, and PIPO teams. Participate in weekly Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) reviews to update MPS, identify short-term risks, and confirm necessary adjustments.

Develop and issue daily production schedules, taking into account material availability, sequencing requirements, and operational priorities. Manage ERP execution and scheduling horizon exceptions by assessing feasibility, exploring supply alternatives, updating systems, and documenting solutions.

Monitor daily production adherence through focused huddles, compliance checks, exception tracking, and performance analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and swift resolution of operational bottlenecks.

A strong background in Production Planning and Scheduling is essential, with hands-on experience in Master Production Scheduling (MPS). Demonstrated expertise in Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, and Exception Management, typically gained over 4 to 8 years.

Mandatory experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is required. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a preferred advantage. Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain setting is key. This permanent, full-time role is based in Chennai and offers a hybrid work model.
