Capgemini is seeking a Production Planning Specialist with robust expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), production scheduling, and effective exception management. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining Master Production Schedules (MPS) by analyzing demand fluctuations, distribution needs, production exceptions, and capacity constraints. You will finalize and publish MPS after thorough validation and stakeholder alignment.

Further duties involve analyzing scheduling insights to refine production plans based on input from Materials, Factory Operations, and PIPO teams. This includes conducting weekly Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) reviews to refresh MPS, assess risks, and validate necessary adjustments. You will also develop daily production schedules considering material availability and operational priorities, and manage ERP execution exceptions by assessing feasibility, exploring alternatives, and documenting resolutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a proven track record in production planning and scheduling. Hands-on experience with SAP is essential, with SAP S/4HANA knowledge being a significant advantage.

This role demands close collaboration across functional teams, including Materials, Factory Operations, and PIPO. You should be adept at managing escalations, validating production constraints, and communicating effectively to ensure schedule adherence and minimize risks.
