The Payments team at Google is dedicated to creating seamless payment experiences, whether online, in-store, or through the Google Pay app. We focus on enhancing consumer payment technologies and facilitating the financial flow between Google and its users and businesses.

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with engineering, program management, and UX teams to translate product requirements into actionable objectives. You will define and operationalize product roadmaps, shaping the overall product narrative and direction.

Key responsibilities include identifying and validating market opportunities, assessing market size, and driving product launches. You will also manage product lifecycle activities such as maintenance and retirement, working in tandem with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes.

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical field. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in taking technical products from initial concept through to successful launch is essential.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a technology or business-related field, along with substantial experience in business functions like strategic marketing or consulting. Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership, software development or engineering, and working cross-functionally with diverse teams like engineering, UX/UI, sales, and finance are also highly valued.
