Job description

Join Geo's mission to make real-world exploration and navigation seamless, intelligent, and universally accessible. As a Product Manager, you will be instrumental in driving Maps' reach towards 3 billion monthly active users. This role focuses on growing Android Maps reach by enhancing acquisition and re-activation strategies, particularly in top Android growth markets.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product intuition, deep data analysis, and rigorous experimentation to achieve sustainable, high-velocity user growth and engagement.

Responsibilities

Own the multi-quarter strategy and execution plan for global Android Google Mobile Maps (aGMM) MAU growth, daily visits, and active users. Conduct comprehensive funnel analyses to identify drop-off points, churn drivers, and key user cohorts. Design, launch, and analyze high-velocity A/B tests and causal holdback experiments to validate product hypotheses.

Collaborate closely with engineering to optimize app startup latency, reduce payload footprints, and improve first-interaction times, especially on entry-tier devices. You will also partner with dedicated Engineering teams, Data Science/Analytics, UX Design, Research, Legal, and Product Marketing across various geographies.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates should possess 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical field, including 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception through to launch (e.g., 0 to 1, end-to-end execution). Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows is also a key requirement.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a technology or business-related field. Experience building products for emerging markets, the next billion users, or optimizing app performance for low-end Android devices is highly valued. Demonstrable experience launching large-scale mobile consumer products with a focus on growth, user funnels, or acquisition is a significant advantage.
