As a Product Manager for Android Maps Reach, you will be instrumental in driving Maps towards 3 billion monthly active users. You'll focus on enhancing user acquisition and re-engagement through innovative strategies, targeting top growth markets globally. This role requires a blend of product intuition, deep data analysis, and rigorous experimentation to eliminate friction in the user journey.
Define and execute the multi-quarter strategy for global Android Google Mobile Maps (aGMM) MAU growth, daily visits, and overall user engagement.
Conduct in-depth funnel analyses to identify drop-off points, understand churn drivers, and analyze user cohorts.
Design, implement, and analyze high-velocity A/B tests and causal holdback experiments to validate product hypotheses.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize app startup latency, reduce payload footprints, and improve first-interaction times on entry-tier devices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, UX Design, Research, Legal, and Product Marketing across various geographies.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess at least 5 years of product management experience or in a related technical field.
Demonstrate 2 years of experience in guiding technical products from ideation through to launch.
Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into product workflows is essential.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in technology or business, experience with emerging markets and low-end devices, and a strong track record in launching scalable mobile consumer products with a focus on growth and user funnels.
