This role focuses on a US Healthcare IT product or a portfolio of products, requiring a strategic approach to product management and roadmap execution. You'll leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation, streamline workflows, and automate repetitive tasks, while also evaluating emerging trends for continuous improvement.
Define and drive the product management strategy and roadmap for key healthcare IT products. Clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to engineering teams. Own the portfolio backlog and ensure effective roadmap execution. Collaborate closely with UX and engineering to shape product design. Identify and leverage relevant data to build compelling business cases independently. Deliver consistent value based on business objectives (MBOs). Conduct system demos for stakeholders and customers, prioritizing backlog items with a deep understanding of features. Actively incorporate feedback from retrospective meetings to improve processes. Proactively identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans. Foster a culture of innovation within the product portfolio. Collaborate effectively with business, engineering, product, and operations teams to achieve common objectives. Conduct win/loss analysis to inform product roadmap decisions.
An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required. Demonstrate expertise in driving cost-benefit analysis and tracking forecasts to ensure product performance. Apply data-driven knowledge and best practices to enhance product offerings. Excel at gathering business requirements, documenting, and maintaining the product backlog and roadmap. Possess strong skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, benchmarking, and business process evaluation. Engage in meaningful technical discussions with engineering teams regarding existing and emerging technologies and solution architectures. Possess good knowledge of the payer and provider landscape, including an understanding of medical coding and risk adjustment models. Familiarity with Medicaid state-specific payment cycles is expected. Working knowledge of tools such as Aha! and Rally is necessary.
