The IT landscape is rapidly evolving, with businesses managing a diverse array of devices, applications, and digital tools. Rippling IT offers a unified platform designed for the AI era, consolidating device management, identity, inventory, support, and compliance into a single, cohesive system.
Device Management within Rippling is a critical area focused on device administration, software deployment, reporting, and streamlining IT workflows to ensure secure, reliable, and productive device fleets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical intricacies while maintaining a strategic overview, transforming complex domains into user-friendly experiences.
This role emphasizes leveraging AI and automation to revolutionize how IT teams manage devices and resolve issues at scale. Candidates should demonstrate a strong aptitude for quickly grasping new concepts and applying them to product development.
Take ownership of product strategy and execution for a key segment of Device Management, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from initial discovery to ongoing iteration.
Define and manage the product roadmap for a comprehensive technical area, encompassing core device management functionalities, software deployment, reporting tools, system reliability, and scalability.
Develop a forward-thinking strategy for integrating AI, automation, and agents to enhance how IT professionals configure, manage, and troubleshoot devices.
Collaborate directly with engineering and design teams to navigate system architecture, platform dependencies, potential edge cases, and trade-offs, translating these into intuitive user experiences.
Maintain close relationships with customers, including IT administrators, security professionals, and end-users, to identify and address their most pressing challenges.
Apply strong product judgment by synthesizing customer feedback, data insights, technical context, and business objectives to prioritize development efforts and sequence the product roadmap effectively.
Partner with internal departments such as sales, marketing, support, implementation, and customer success to refine product positioning, foster adoption, and elevate the overall customer journey.
Operate as a senior product owner in a dynamic environment, emphasizing clear communication, decisive action, elevating product quality, and aligning cross-functional teams around ambitious objectives.
Demonstrate a proven history of successfully building and launching complex, technical products.
Possess strong technical depth and an inquisitive mindset, enabling credible discussions with engineers on architecture, platform limitations, edge cases, and strategic trade-offs.
Exhibit a rapid learning ability and a commitment to delving deeply into unfamiliar subject areas. Prior experience in IT or device management is not a prerequisite.
Showcase excellent product judgment and aesthetic sensibility, with a portfolio of creating simple, elegant user experiences from intricate systems.
Cultivate profound customer empathy and experience in developing products for actual end-users, rather than solely for internal infrastructure or backend systems.
Maintain a high operational tempo, a strong sense of ownership, and a proactive approach in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, possessing the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and to unite teams around challenging decisions.
Exhibit strong alignment with Rippling's core leadership principles, particularly "Push the Limits of Possible," "Challenge Each Other," and "Go and See."
