As a Product Designer II within the Data Gravity UX Design team, you'll craft intuitive and connected data experiences across Microsoft Fabric, making complex data tasks accessible and shaping AI-powered design.

You will take ownership of the end-to-end design for key data transformation and Microsoft Fabric features. This involves understanding user needs, prototyping solutions, and iterating based on feedback and data.

Key responsibilities include synthesizing user insights, product data, and technical constraints to define user experience plans. You'll create detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications that ensure secure, accessible, and coherent user journeys.

Your role involves balancing improvements to existing products with innovative, future-facing explorations, including AI-enabled experiences. You'll contribute to and apply design systems, ensuring consistency and enhancing the overall Microsoft Fabric experience.

Close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering is essential to evaluate trade-offs, communicate design rationale, and ensure high-quality delivery. You'll also present your work to stakeholders, gather feedback, and contribute to an inclusive studio culture.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, HCI, UX, Interaction Design, or a related field, coupled with at least 3 years of product or service design experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience. Experience shipping products or services through an end-to-end design process is highly valued.

A strong human-centered design foundation, a portfolio showcasing problem-solving and execution, and excellent interaction design and prototyping skills are essential. An AI-forward mindset and comfort partnering with engineers on technical complexities are also key.

Excellent communication, collaboration, adaptability, and curiosity are expected. Familiarity with data, software development tools, or enterprise software is a plus. Candidates must meet security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
