Join a dynamic team as a Product Deployment Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in the technical success of our key advertising clients and product partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, and Product Management, to harness emerging technologies. Your role will span concept design, testing, data analysis, and ongoing support, ensuring the seamless technical execution and operational efficiency of Google's advertising platforms and partnerships.
This position offers the unique opportunity to balance client needs with technical realities, develop innovative solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor. You'll contribute to building tools, automating processes, and shaping product strategy by prioritizing projects and resources effectively.
Partner closely with sales and product leads to assess client technical maturity and data strategies, guiding the adoption of scalable solutions. Identify and capitalize on custom technical opportunities, relaying critical product gaps and edge cases back to core Ads engineering. Develop clear system architectures based on client needs, authoring requirement documents and standardized deployment playbooks. Design robust, privacy-compliant data pipelines, including integrations with the Google Ads API, and implement validation frameworks using real-world data. Coordinate efforts across gTech and client teams to ensure smooth implementation and successful activation.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. You should possess at least 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers. Experience in system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python) is essential. A Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science is preferred, alongside 8 years of experience in project management and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies. Practical experience with CRM architectures (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or custom internal backends) is highly desirable. The ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences is crucial. You should be able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Proven coding ability in Java or Python, along with database knowledge and proficiency in constructing complex SQL queries, is also required.
