Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Process Lead for Independence. This pivotal role ensures the governance, quality, and operational health of your assigned GDS Independence process portfolio. You will act as a process steward and independent quality oversight leader, providing critical insights into process performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

This position is key to establishing process priorities, guiding Process SMRs, and driving initiatives for enhanced consistency, compliance, and effectiveness. Collaboration with Global Process Owners and other stakeholders is essential to embed global standards and manage risks proactively. Through robust governance and data-driven strategies, you will enable high-quality Independence services across GDS.

Lead the governance framework for designated GDS processes, maintaining a holistic view of process health, quality, and risks. Define portfolio priorities and spearhead assurance, remediation, and improvement efforts to ensure consistent application of global standards.

Oversee risk-based quality and assurance activities, analyzing significant findings and emerging risks to determine necessary actions. Drive thematic reviews and trend analysis to identify systemic issues, ensuring that assurance outcomes lead to sustainable improvements.

Analyze recurring issues and root causes, establishing remediation priorities and monitoring progress. Hold owners accountable for corrective actions and confirm that remediation effectively mitigates future risks. Identify opportunities for process simplification and standardization.

Manage the implementation of approved process changes, maintaining comprehensive documentation and ensuring practical guidance for teams. Support successful adoption through clear communication and learning initiatives.

Partner with key stakeholders to enhance process performance and governance. Provide data-backed recommendations on risks and quality concerns, influencing decisions through objective oversight. Represent the process portfolio in strategic discussions and foster strong team collaboration.

A university degree (Master's or post-graduate equivalent) or substantial professional experience in business, accounting, finance, risk, compliance, or operations is required.

Possess 12-14 years of relevant experience within professional services, global delivery, or a controlled service environment, with a strong focus on Independence or risk and compliance. Demonstrated expertise in quality management, assurance, root cause analysis, and risk assessment is essential.

Proven people leadership experience, with accountability for capacity, performance, and risk outcomes. Excellent executive communication and influencing skills are necessary for building trusted stakeholder relationships.
