You will assess existing cloud environments, identify improvement areas, and guide customers through their cloud adoption journey.
This position offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from initial design to successful deployment. You will collaborate with various teams to resolve challenges and ensure positive customer outcomes.
Partner closely with customers to grasp their business objectives, requirements, and challenges, developing practical technical and process solutions. Lead comprehensive fit-gap analyses of customer cloud environments and create strategic roadmaps for cloud transition, implementation, and ongoing optimization. Establish and align the functional and technical vision for program solutions, ensuring consistency with customer and internal stakeholder expectations. Manage and oversee end-to-end delivery processes, encompassing requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and go-live phases. Architect secure and scalable OCI environments, covering networking, security, identity and access management, and foundational infrastructure. Guide the deployment of customer workloads onto OCI, support diverse cloud adoption models, and proactively address any delivery impediments. Ensure customer solutions are aligned with Oracle's product roadmaps, release schedules, business enhancements, and critical production support needs. Collaborate effectively with portfolio management and cross-functional teams, including business analysts, integration specialists, QA, development, support, services, and third-party partners. Communicate solution options, potential risks, project progress, and strategic recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders. Contribute to high-level strategic planning, program governance, customer satisfaction initiatives, service delivery excellence, and leadership of cross-functional teams.
This role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in customer-facing, consultative, or technology-focused roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer information systems, or computer science, coupled with 7 years of experience, is preferred. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or a Doctorate with 3 years of experience, will be considered.
Expect 8-15 years of IT industry experience, including at least 5 years specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You must possess hands-on expertise in OCI, covering cloud architecture, workload deployment, networking, security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM). Proficiency with Terraform for OCI resource provisioning and management is essential, alongside strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.
Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes, preferably Oracle Kubernetes Engine, is required. Building observability dashboards and alerts using Prometheus and Grafana is also a key requirement. You should demonstrate proven experience in leading business analysis, business-process design, and software delivery lifecycle activities. The ability to lead cross-functional programs, coordinate stakeholders, manage resources, and deliver solutions on time and within budget is crucial.
Strong capabilities in client relationship management, service delivery, incident response, account management, contract management, and compliance are expected. Excellent analytical, written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills are vital for success. Occasional travel up to 25% to customer and internal locations may be required.
