You will define integration strategies across software, firmware, and hardware, leading investigations into complex issues and implementing robust solutions. This role involves designing significant improvements in performance, reliability, and fault tolerance for large-scale systems, while also elevating code quality and establishing standards for observability, security, and compliance. You'll be instrumental in platform bring-up and diagnostics, working closely with silicon, board, and firmware partners to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality. Design and implement advanced firmware components and diagnose intricate cross-domain problems.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining complex system software for hyperscale environments, automating hardware provisioning and server onboarding. You will play a crucial role in platform bring-up, firmware updates, and extensive debugging across software, firmware, and hardware layers within a DevOps framework. This involves creating robust software solutions, adhering to and improving development lifecycle processes, and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.

Further duties encompass leading code reviews, conducting in-depth debugging, and implementing comprehensive software testing and quality assurance. You will also be responsible for performance profiling, building scalable solutions, and resolving complex API-related issues, including versioning and interoperability strategies. Contribute to defining software architecture, implementing performance and scalability strategies, and providing technical mentorship to junior developers.

Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand and resolve customer issues, advocating for customer interests and suggesting product enhancements. You will also ensure adherence to development practices, coding standards, and security best practices, while performing system maintenance and driving automation for service availability and reliability. This role involves coordinating moderately complex tasks, managing project timelines, and collaborating across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

This role seeks an experienced engineer adept at owning complex system modules and automation workflows for Edge Cloud infrastructure. A proven ability to define integration contracts across software, firmware, and hardware is essential. Experience leading deep-dive investigations for incidents and hard faults, coupled with a knack for creating durable and preventive fixes, is highly valued.
