Provide leadership to the software engineering and analyst team focused on integration capabilities. Proactively remove roadblocks for the integrations team and collaborate with other leads on data externalization to ensure efficient use of tools like reports, interfaces, and co-existence solutions. Develop a deep understanding of business and customer needs to propose and drive innovative solutions. Champion modern software engineering practices to enhance team delivery and solution quality. Leverage extensive domain knowledge to optimize architectural and design decisions, and lead the adoption of cutting-edge software components, tools, and technologies. Drive code reuse and contribution strategies, minimizing redundant development through pattern-based approaches.
Utilize a broad understanding of human capital technology tools, both technically and functionally, to partner with functional teams. Establish strong partnerships across business and technology stakeholders to ensure accurate problem-solving and meet customer needs. Take ownership of improving user and customer metrics within your area of responsibility. Influence leadership and peers by sharing expertise, learnings, and insights. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams, identifying and suggesting technological opportunities within the context of the overall experience. Work within an agile development framework, coordinating improvements to agile metrics like Time to Build (TTB) and Time to Value (TTV). Proactively integrate AI to solve complex problems and uncover new opportunities for the team, aligning AI initiatives with overarching business goals.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering is essential. This includes over 10 years of experience in integration/interface implementation and over 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM enterprise application implementation. Additionally, candidates must possess over 10 years of hands-on SQL development experience and a minimum of 5 years delivering products within an Agile development framework.
Essential technical skills include experience with data integration technologies and tools such as HDL, HCM Extracts, and BICCS. A solid understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and debugging is required. Familiarity with a wide range of technologies and the ability to share this knowledge effectively is also key. Candidates should understand the nuances of AI project execution and focus on delivering tangible, responsible AI-driven value. Extensive knowledge in developing and consuming APIs (SOAP, REST) is crucial, alongside solid expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules and architecture. Proficiency in developing and consuming APIs (SOAP, REST) is also a core requirement.
