As a Principal Engineer, you will act as a pragmatic visionary, translating intricate business needs into robust and scalable technology solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass both deep technical execution and high-level architectural design. You will be hands-on, producing detailed technical specifications alongside comprehensive architectural blueprints.
The WW FBA team is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of FBA services. This includes core systems, algorithms, and seller-facing tools. You will manage the entire inventory journey, from seller enrollment and shipment planning to inbound logistics and ongoing inventory management within Amazon's fulfillment network.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of extensive engineering experience, including a decade dedicated to planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer-facing software solutions. Proven experience collaborating with product or program management teams is essential.
Furthermore, the role requires a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams within an Agile framework. Experience in designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications, coupled with a strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms, is highly valued.
