Define and drive the long-term technical strategy and architectural vision for device management, integrating new technologies to enhance customer features. Propose and champion foundational solutions that empower device businesses to leverage shared services instead of building their own.
Establish a technical approach that prioritizes data privacy within foundational solutions. Collaborate with device teams to understand customer needs and advocate for the adoption of new services. Re-architect existing services to effectively support enterprise use cases, demonstrating expert knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and best practices.
Contribute to the career growth of others by mentoring individuals and the wider Amazon developer community on advanced technical topics. Guide managers in supporting their team members' career development. Exert significant technical influence across multiple teams, enhancing their productivity and effectiveness through the sharing of deep knowledge and experience.
A minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships. Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms is essential.
A proven history of successfully leading large-scale projects is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate and convey technical concepts.
Preferred qualifications include experience designing and building large-scale systems within multi-tiered, distributed environments. The ability to influence architectural decisions across different groups and a capacity for multitasking and rapid learning of new technologies are highly valued.
