A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required, along with at least 6 years of technical engineering experience. Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is essential, or equivalent practical experience.

This role necessitates meeting Microsoft's security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which is updated every two years.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, coupled with 12+ years of software engineering experience. Expertise in systems thinking and architectural design is highly valued, as is experience leading large-scale, geo-distributed engineering initiatives from conception to delivery. Experience building, deploying, and operating highly available distributed systems at scale is also beneficial.
