As a technical leader, you will drive innovation and deliver high-quality software at scale, ensuring architecture, implementation, and operations meet stringent reliability, security, performance, and cost standards. Provide architectural guidance and mentorship, advancing engineering best practices in coding, testing, design, observability, and operations.
Design reusable platform-first products, services, and tools, considering operational impact and long-term maintainability. Serve as the technical lead for key initiatives, guiding teams from architecture through operationalization. Collaborate with stakeholders to align perspectives, resolve dependencies, and execute a unified vision for core infrastructure.
Engage with and influence relevant open-source projects, evaluate emerging technologies, and share knowledge widely. Lead efforts in debugging, incident management, deployment automation, security hardening, and telemetry improvements to enhance the quality and reliability of complex infrastructure systems.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with at least 6 years of relevant engineering experience, including proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, is required. Alternatively, equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience. Demonstrable experience in providing architectural or technical leadership across multiple complex engineering initiatives is highly valued. Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems, databases, or client-server architectures is essential. Expertise in architecting data infrastructure, IaaS, AI infrastructure, storage, graph, compute, or platform systems, along with experience influencing open-source projects, is also beneficial.
