The CSX organization is integral to Microsoft Commercial Business (MCB), providing systems and tools that empower field resources to drive Cloud and AI Solutions. Our engineering team builds and delivers innovative apps and solutions critical for key seller roles across MCB. As a full-stack Software Engineer, you will manage multiple products within the CSX platform, delivering state-of-the-art user experiences and directly impacting our customers and Microsoft. Lead the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment, emphasizing engineering best practices for scalable and secure solutions. Develop AI-infused applications and Copilots to boost user productivity and creativity, translating ideas into strategic solutions.

Design resilient, secure, and business-aligned solutions, guiding technology choices and architectural patterns. Mentor team members through code reviews and design feedback, cultivating a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and UX designers to manage dependencies and enhance engineering capabilities. Establish and enforce high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability through robust testing and documentation.

Maintain existing enterprise services and integrations. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and technical innovation to drive continuous improvement.

Participate actively in planning sessions, provide cost estimates, and ensure transparent communication on project status, risks, and milestones.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with at least 6 years of technical engineering experience, including coding proficiency in languages like C#, Java, or Python, is required. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience will be considered.

Preferred qualifications include 8+ years in commercial software development, a strong track record of shipping successful products, and extensive experience with cloud development principles, microservices, and the DevOps model. Experience leading technical and architectural dependencies is also valued.

Technical proficiency should encompass C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React. Hands-on experience with AI technologies, ASP.NET, Azure PaaS services (Web Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub), REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases is essential.

We seek candidates with experience in agile or startup environments, a strong customer focus, and excellent communication skills. Business acumen to translate customer scenarios into product requirements is also beneficial. Familiarity with software development tools like GIT, CI/CD systems, and lifecycle management systems is expected. Development experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including SQL, CosmosDB, ADF, and front-end frameworks like React, is a plus.

Practical experience building analytic applications leveraging data science models and applied AI is an added advantage. The ability to be influential in cross-group environments and to lead a motivated team collaboratively is key.
