Join Microsoft's India Development Center (IDC) as a Principal Product Manager within the Windows Enterprise and Security (ENS) team. This role is central to developing foundational Windows capabilities that enterprises rely on daily. You will lead product strategy and execution for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and Attestation stack, a critical technology for secure storage of biometric data, PINs, and establishing hardware root of trust for confidential data. As the Principal Product Manager for TPM/Attestation, you will be instrumental in defining and driving the product roadmap for the Windows TPM platform and Azure attestation stack. This includes overseeing the entire lifecycle from enrollment and credential storage to firmware upgrades and deployment scenarios for both Pluton and discrete TPM chips.

You will cultivate strong relationships and ensure alignment with internal engineering teams across client, service, and cloud control plane, as well as external hardware and OEM partners. A key aspect of this role involves direct engagement with enterprise IT administrators and leadership. You will translate customer needs and pain points into actionable product requirements, communicating the value proposition of Windows manageability. Continuous improvement of platform fundamentals such as security, performance, automation, and quality will be a priority, alongside defining success criteria and data-informed metrics for cross-functional projects. You will also partner with support, field, and engineering teams to address customer issues and represent Windows manageability in broader forums.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent experience. We are looking for individuals with a strong technical foundation in Windows OS architecture and security models, coupled with expertise in hardware/firmware trust stacks like TPM, secure boot, and attestation. Experience reasoning across hardware, firmware, and OS boundaries is essential.

Demonstrated experience in engaging with ecosystems and partners, including OEMs, ODMs, and silicon vendors, is highly valued. You should be comfortable driving alignment with platform architects, firmware teams, and cross-company technical stakeholders, with the ability to influence ecosystem roadmaps and standards. A clear product ownership for the Trusted Platform/TPM space, including defining vision, roadmap, and balancing tradeoffs between security, cost, performance, and compatibility, is expected. You must also meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
